  Update #1   Black
2009 997TT with EVT700 TechArt Type I, Tubi Race Exhaust & HRE P43 Wheels

Hey folks, this brand new 2009 black 997TT cab came to us for a first round of surgery, including 19" HRE Monoblok wheels, a Tubi Race exhaust, software upgrade, and a number of tweaks and changes.

First things first.... off comes the bumper and stock exhaust...

On goes, arguably the best sounding exhaust for the TT, the Tubi Race system:

And some nifty TechArt tips in diamond black...

We also installed the EVOMS Boost Recirculation Valves:

And over to the inside we also installed the pedal kit:

Here's a video for those that haven't heard it yet.

Next up is the EVOMSit Stage II software...

We put a bit of extra mustard with this 5hp power boost...

Finally, no SharkWerks project is complete without a set of 19 inch (we don't do 20s around here) HRE wheels, this time P43 Monobloks powdercoated glossy black.

We'll be adding some black techart tips and a few other goodies later today

This car also got a set of the front LED TechArt Day-time running lights that fit the stock bumper:

And yes they're very bright!

  Update #2

For her third act she came in for a FULL suspension over-haul, including the TechArt PASM Coil Over kit along with the TechArt noselift set up to make it easier to get in and out of those steep entrance/exits. Also on-tap was a set of the RSS drop links, Toe-Steer Kit and Adjustable rear links. Darth Vader in cab-form?

In go the rear TechArt PASM coil overs:

In go the front coil overs:

Along with the RSS drop link kit and adjustable front sway bar:

For the front the battery tray is replaced with the TechArt unit sporting the hydraulic pump controller.

Factory rear links installed and ready to come off:

In go the solid RSS links and the adjustable rear sway bar:

Here's the noselift in action in the "UP" position:

And then in the "DOWN" position:

The finished article and ready to go home:

  Update #3

For her final act she came in to complete the full TechArt type 1 aerokit in the rear including the Type 1 rear wing and the Type 1 rear diffuser.

And the new rear wing:

  Update #4

OK so her real final act was to upgrade from the Stage II all the way to EVOMS' bolt-on EVT700 power kit.

Here she is on the lift with the stock headers and Tubi Race exhaust:

Our Stage III clutch kit is required for this level of power so off comes the transmission. Starting with the belly-pans:

Then the driveshafts:

Out comes the trans:

There she is naked without the transmission as the flywheel assembly goes in:

With the turbos (and all lines), exhaust, intercoolers, headers and coil packs removed we then change the spark plugs:

With the spark plugs upgraded it's time for the EVT700 VTG turbos to get installed:

The EVOMS ClubSport intercoolers are then installed and the factory cages modified:

In go the intercoolers and the upgraded red hose kit:

Next up the factory headers are replaced by EVOMS' newest Clubsport headers, which are designed to have a factory fit and not hang inches lower in the danger zone:

As shown here they are not the lowest point so they won't get damaged in/out of those driveways:

Almost there with the new turbos/headers installed:

The factory pulley is another area we tackle:

Off she comes in favor of the smaller and lighter-weight EVOMS unit:

And the EVT700 logo (thanks Ian!):
