2007 997TT Stage IV With HRE C-20 Wheels & TechArt Type 1 Aerokit

The first 997 Twin Turbo delivered in California was brought to us from our friends at Carlsen Porsche. In GT Silver this 997TT sits on 19 inch HRE C-20s, has the EVOMSit Tuning power upgrade flash, MillTek Exhaust, EVO intercoolers, hose kit and headers. With a full Tech Art type 1 kit on the outside she really stands out.

Northern California's first 997TT gets delivered to the local dealership and subsequently scoots off over to Shark Werks for a make-over.

Fred's car is on the lift awaiting surgery. With the EVOMSit software the boost is turned up a notch and a perfect match for all the incoming hardware.

Once the bumper and shrouds have been removed we now have access to the exhaust, which looks very much akin to the 996TT one that came before it. In other words it's restrictive and sounds way to quiet.

Off comes that heavy stock exhaust weighing in at 75 pounds!

In its place we install the ever-popular MillTek 997TT exhaust system with its 100 cell high-flow race cats. This exhaust is on the quieter side and just right for a daily driver.

Lowering the car to GT3RS specs we installed the Tech Art PASM Damptronic coil over system. The ride was very compliant with much improved handling.

With the bumper already off, we removed the stock intercooler brackets and got ready to upgrade to the Club Sport's from EVOMS

With only minor modification the new improved flowing (also using more efficient core) EVO intercooler kit can be installed into the factory shrouds and brackets

Pictured on the floor (left) is the stock intercooler showing the restrictive flow of the end tanks in comparison to the new CNC'd higher flow EVO ones.

Once secured back into position we got rid of the factory hoses and went with the Red Silicone Boost Hose kit also from EVO.

With the exhaust work already underway, it only made sense to help reduce lag further with EVO's equal length headers. Pictured here is the Venturi-style collector compared to the stock one on the right

Pictured here is the bottom upgraded hose going from the intercooler to the turbo (stock- for now!)

The headers are a snap to install and fit like a glove. Pictured on the left is the EVO header system and on the right the stock Porsche one.

Over now into the interior, the car sports Rennline footwell plates and pedals. Covering up his short shifter is a carbon fiber shifter knob that goes well with
the other carbon fiber pieces.

For the exterior, HRE Competition C-20 series wheels were used to lighten things up. We also installed the full Tech Art Type 1 body kit.

Now she's ready to go GT3 hunting at the track!
